In our home products we use fresh chicken with animal welfare certification. This means that the chickens have more space and additional litter. They also have a straw and sand bath, areas for scratching, daylight, and adequate night's rest. Regular animal welfare checks are of course mandatory.
Our Heimat Adult is gently produced with animal welfare chicken (35%) for your adult pelt nose in our traditional family business in Wiesenbach.
To round off the taste of our delicious home-grown product, we add 5% fresh fish from sustainable fisheries (MSC white fish and MSC salmon). MSC-certified fisheries ensure that the stocks they exploit remain at a sustainable size and that their fishing activities do not cause long-term damage to the seabed and ecosystem (MSC certification number: MSC-C-55377).
By deliberately avoiding grains in the recipe and using high-quality and easily digestible potato and potato starch, you are feeding your nutritionally sensitive dog in a particularly gentle and grain-free way.
With 60 years of experience and true to our quality promise "assured sustainability" (certified by the German Institute for Sustainability and Economics), our Heimat products are lovingly and carefully prepared in harmony with nature using selected regional raw materials.
* Even with the greatest care in the production and packaging of our products, traces of other animal protein sources or (gluten-containing) cereals cannot be excluded.
** Share of animal based protein in total protein: 49.80 %
